Starting a Dovolution

Back in 2018 I hit a milestone that I never planned on achieving – I lost my job. I had always used my job as my voice, my expression if you will. Suddenly, I was mute (and I felt deaf and blind).

During that time, my best friend encouraged me to take the Unstoppable Influence course with Natasha Hazlett. I heard Natasha’s message, but I wasn’t really ready yet. I hadn’t hit MY rock bottom. I thought losing my job was the worst that could happen. Boy was I wrong.

While working the Unstoppable Influence course, I developed a little seedling of a dream. I wanted to create a revolution, or better stated, a Dovolution. You can read more on my home page, but to sum it up:

  • DO something to IMPROVE you.
  • DO something FOR SOMEONE ELSE without expectation.
  • WORK towards a GOAL.

Combined with Dovolution, I wanted to produce Oracle Cards. I started the process, and over the course of 6 months I had developed a prototype of cards. I was a long way from having what I would consider worth replicating, but I had at least kept my mind doing something growth related during the darkest point.

For the last year and a half I practiced with the cards and really fleshed out their true meanings. In the last month, I finished producing the Booklet so I could send my mom the prototype for her birthday. (If you are interested in more information, you can check out the Turn Signals page.)

Now that I have finished Turn Signals, I am ready to embrace Dovolution and really start focusing on this EVERY SINGLE DAY. That’s right, every day!

So stay tuned all summer. WE will work together towards self-improvement, lifting others up, and working towards a personal goal. Who’s with me?
