The final project in 6th grade art this year was a monochrome collage. Wednesday, I decided to try that concept on this palm frond I designed last year.

I am starting to get anxious. That usually equates to me rushing and making dumb mistakes. Fortunately it’s dinner time so I put down the brush.

Today’s prompt for the challenge is stars. I apologize, but I’m just not feeling it today.

One painting/drawing, two challenges 💕

Today’s prompt for #ultimateroadtrip is “gated community”. I tried to run to the gated community near us (I go there when doing a 5K), but I just couldn’t get there today. Here’s my photo of my trip. I wish there was more green, but at least I went.

My Tower Bridge of London is finally coming to life. I should’ve done a base coat but by the time my excited brain remembered, it was too late.

Critics. I’m married to a critic. Usually I immediately discount him because he’s frequently just being cranky. But today his critique and suggestion was spot on.

My favorite ideas always end up being more than I planned. Add this to the list.

Ultimate Roadtrip day 6, the prompt is Avenue 💜

I’m behind on the Ultimate Roadtrip, and while it’s partially due to building a PD course and a deadline…I also think it’s due to size of product. I’m going to have to buy some canvas panels, or start using full sheets of art paper. The 4x5’s are just too small.

When I realized I did my other challenge prompt in the wrong medium, I had to use that medium for this challenge now. No biggie really. Just a different mindset 😅

Oops! I mixed up my mediums for my challenges today.

My daily dance party. I have multiple little things that keep me happy while the reality of being a grown up sucks. Painting is a BIG one, but music is even more. Unfortunately I was not blessed with a voice or the money for dance lessons. But my mom did reach me to appreciate a good dance party at home.
